The foundation of beautiful, lasting memories is trusting your photographer and being fully present. This is a documentary-style journey - I’ll quietly capture each real moment as it unfolds. Let yourself be in the moment, because the most beautiful photos happen when you are truly living your big day.
How It Works
1.Connection
First, we connect via email or FaceTime. I often recommend a call because it gives you a chance to ask all your questions and see how easy this process really is. You’ll get a clear picture of how it works step by step, and I’ll answer any concerns you have, so everything feels simple and straightforward. And if you’d rather communicate by messages, that’s completely fine too.2. Booking
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll complete online agreement and secure your date with a retainer. The remaining balance is due by 37 weeks. After that, I’m on call for you 24/7.3. Your Birth Day
When your labor begins, just reach out to me anytime - day or night. If this is your second or later birth, I’ll come right away. For a first birth, I’ll stay in touch and join you once your contractions are about five minutes apart. After your baby arrives, I’ll remain with you for up to two hours to honor those first tender moments.4. Gallery & Film Delivery
Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a personal sneak peek in your private online gallery, and your full collection of hand-edited images will be delivered within two weeks. The film will take about four weeks.Tell Me More About You

I will do my best to get to you as quickly as possible. By contract, I have one hour to reach you, but depending on your location, I’ll rush to arrive even sooner. The good news is, even if things go fast, we’ll still have time to capture many of the first bonding moments and early connections.

Yes, even with dim lighting, we can still get beautiful, soft photos. If you would like really crisp, bright, and glossy images, we can discuss using a flash. I can adjust the flash intensity to keep you comfortable, and we can alternate - some shots with the flash, some without—so I’ll adapt to what feels right for you.

In some hospitals, photography is typically allowed, while in others it is not. Please remember that only you, as the patient, can request and advocate for this. I am fully on your side, but I do not have a direct relationship with the hospital. If photography is permitted, I will respectfully document your baby’s birth in the operating room while following all safety guidelines. If it is not allowed, with your consent, I can provide my camera to your partner or doula so they can capture key moments, and I will professionally edit the images afterward. Either way, we will still be able to document the first hours with your baby and your first bonding moments outside of the operating room.

Once we have the contract in place, I am on call for you 24/7. If labor begins at night, please call me and I’ll be ready to come.

I will photograph/filming all the key moments of your birth - cutting the cord, then skin-to-skin contact, the placenta, measuring your baby, the first latch, and all the moments in between - your emotions, your first tears, the bonding, and connection. If you prefer, we can also include crowning. If we do filming, we’ll capture the baby’s first cry, and if you make calls to share with grandparents, we will record those too. And if it’s a gender surprise, we’ll capture that moment as well - everything tailored to your preferences.
-
If something unexpected or out of the ordinary occurs, we’ll discuss it during our first consultation. You can let me know whether you’d like me to capture the entire story or skip certain intense moments. During labor, if you feel uncomfortable with any moment being photographed or filmed, just tell me - I will always follow your lead.

This is extremely rare. However, I have a trusted backup photographer available if an emergency ever prevents me from attending. You will always be supported.

In the event of a loss, I approach photography with the utmost respect and sensitivity. Images are only taken with your full consent and handled with complete privacy. In this situation, you will receive a full refund.

If you book the combo package that includes both photo and video, I usually switch between cameras during birth to capture everything with the best artistic approach and my professional experience. However, the exact moment of birth - when your baby is placed on your chest for the first time - is very brief and cannot be captured perfectly with both cameras at once. For this reason, I kindly ask you to choose whether you would like that specific moment captured in photo or video. I will focus fully on your chosen medium for that moment and the following 5 minutes. Afterward, I switch cameras again to continue documenting both photo and video for the rest of your birth story.
